Tian Gao’s practice focuses on the patent prosecution as well as legal issues relating to IP due diligence, and formalities. 

Tian Gao graduated with an LLB from University of Ottawa.  Prior to joining Shapiro Cohen Tian was employed in a Beijing law firm where he has gained practical international experience. 

Tian has several year of experience as a software engineer focused in the areas of Voice over IP Systems, Carrier telephone networks systems, GSM wireless protocol implementations and Enterprise network communication systems.

Tian is fluent in English and Chinese.
