Chantal St. Denis joined the firm in 1996 and qualified as a Registered Trade-mark Agent in 2001. Chantal specializes in trade-mark prosecution and opposition proceedings. She works closely with both domestic and international clients in assessing their trade-mark portfolios to determine how to best protect these valuable assets both in Canada and around the world. Chantal strongly believes that the key to developing a trusting and lasting relationship with clients is to always be frank, realistic and responsive, and to recognize that different clients have different requirements and budgets.  Chantal accordingly focuses her services to meet each individual client's needs and to find the solution that is both the best and most cost-effective for them.

Chantal graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1996 with a Bachelor of Social Science in Criminology and Sociology, and completed all of her studies in the French language. She is fluently bilingual in English and French, and represents clients in both languages. Prior to joining the firm, Chantal volunteered helping women and teenagers who were victims of abuse.

Chantal is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and International Trademark Association (INTA).
